MAY'S LUNCH IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATIONS
Taco about a party in May! Sí it is May and time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This month's menu features Street Tacos with grilled chicken, marinated skirt steak, 4.5" flour tortillas, jack/cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, avocado-lime sour cream, salsa, shredded cabbage, Spanish rice, garden salad, dessert and beverage station. For the vegetarian option, Vegetarian Tortilla Soup will be offered.
The deadline for reservations is April 29th at 3PM.
HOME & HOME & HOME RHINESTONE COWGIRLS
It's time to start planning for the HOME & HOME & HOME. The fun starts on April 23rd at SaddleBrooke Ranch followed by a rousing round at Mountain View on April 30th. The jewel of the three events ends at our own course on May 28th. Play in one, two or all three. The registration form can be printed here. Ever wonder when you are looking at the scorecard which tees are the combo tees? Here is a view to determine which tees are the Yellow/Red combo or the Red/Aqua combo tees.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2019 CLUB CHAMPIONS!
Shawna Ianson had a two-day gross total of 157 to claim the title of 2019 Club Champion. Ann Chatham had a two-day gross total of 171 to become the 2019 Senior Club Champion. Way to go ladies! The payout results are located under the Winners Circle/Tournaments header tab.
TEE IT FORWARD
An article on the purpose for playing Tee It Forward. Also, look under the Members header to read a book published by the USGA on "Why Play from the Forward Tees?" In addition, there are new articles on the 'Play It Forward' initiative provided by Sandra Murray, Tuesday Play Chair. Just added on this subject is a chart that may be beneficial in helping you to determine which tee ground you may want to play from.
HOLE-IN-ONE TRAIN ON THE MOVE
Congratulations to Tina Gruner for her Hole-In-One on March 19th. She crossed the pond on SB2 from the Aqua tee ground and her ball found the hole!

NEW INFORMATION REGARDING HANDICAP SYSTEM IN 2020
As things change in the golfing world, the future is becoming more interesting in regards to the handicapping system. Under the 'Handicaps' header is a link to the video for the New World Wide Handicap System that will be introduced in 2020.

NEW Catalina Cup Schedule has arrived! Schedule
Catalina Cup is a competitive golf event comprised of clubs throughout the Tucson area. We send three two-person teams (maximum handicap index of 26.0) to each match. The format is match play and each team competes in low gross and low net events.

# in 2018 a change was made to " fix must pay 3 places Gross & Net per tee box" as this was totally inflexible with signup and resulted in exceeding 33% of field to pay.
This Sweeps report has a published Payout Schedule with minimum of 3 on the tee.
# ACE Day extra flight places are awarded to GROSS.

There is now an easier way to communicate your posting adjustments. Look under the Handbook tab for "Posting Corrections"; click on it and it will take you right to the form. You must still adhere to the Standing Rules regarding the procedures for posting your scores.
